Welcome to All Saints (Marsh) C of E Primary School

Explore our web site to find out more about our friendly village-style school in the heart of Newton Abbot.

Our school has been serving the community here since 1873, with the building originally being used as a church.  We are in the parish of Wolborough and very much value our links with the local church of St Paul’s, and the Diocese of Exeter.

Our recent SIAS inspection reports that: 'The strong Christian ethos permeates all aspects of school life. The head teacher has a clear vision and high expectations which are shared with the whole community. The learners feel valued and special... The school makes excellent provision to meet the needs of all its learners. Learners from all groups feel valued and special and the school’s commitment to valuing and developing the individual is a great strength of the school.'

See link below for full report.

In our recent Ofsted inspection (February 2011) the inspectors noted that: 'All pupils are exceptionally well cared for, valued and nurtured as individuals within the school family community. They feel very secure and their behaviour is outstanding throughout the school day, showing high levels of thoughtfulness and responsibility for their own actions and towards each other.'

See below for link to full report.

Please feel free to make an appointment to come and have a look around!  We are looking forward to meeting you and your child.

Last year we asked all our children, parents/carers, staff and governors to think about which Christian values made All Saints (Marsh) so special.  We all agreed that love is the most important of all, and to remember this it is placed in the palm of our 'values hand'.  The other five Christian values chosen  were Peace, Hope, Friendship. Trust and Compassion.
