Dear all

The Tinderbox – Thursday and Friday afternoon!

On Thursday Forde and Bradley are going to Exeter to see a performance of the Tinderbox, and on Friday Courtenay and Templar are going too.  This is the school’s Christmas present to the children, so there is no charge.  However, in order for the children to be able to go we must have completed SOE 3 forms returned by Wednesday this week at the latest (forms attached).  The children who are going will need to have an early lunch, so there will be no hot school lunch for them on the day they are travelling.  However, if your child is in receipt of a free school meal a school packed lunch will be ordered for them.  This means that on Thursday Forde and Bradley classes will be having packed lunches only at an earlier time than normal, but Courtenay and Templar will have normal lunch at the normal time.  Similarly on Friday Courtenay and Templar will be having packed lunches only at an earlier time, but Forde and Bradley will be eating their normal lunch at the normal time.  The children will arrive home in time for the usual end of day.

Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools (SIAS)

Hot on the heels of Ofsted, we have our SIAS inspection tomorrow, where Andrew Rickett will be looking particularly at the Christian character of our school.  As with last Tuesday, once we are cleared to share the information with you we will do so!

Christmas Bazaar

We raised over £1200 on Friday at the Christmas Bazaar!  All of this money goes to our children, so thank you to everyone who contributed to the afternoon in any way, especially to the Friends of All Saints for a fantastic effort all round!

School Christmas lunch

This year our school Christmas lunch is on Thursday 20th December.  Please complete and return the slip attached to this letter so we have the correct numbers to supply to the kitchen staff.  The cost will be £1.75 as normal, and children who are in receipt of free school meals will automatically receive a lunch as usual.
