19 Dec 2007 - Last Newsletter of 2007
Dear all
Last letter of the year! (But please still read it
.)
I cant believe that just a year ago I was saying a tearful goodbye to the staff, children and parents at
Nativity Service at
This will start at
but I suggest that parents arrive at about 2.00 pm ish if possible so everyone is settled at the start. The children will need to be picked up from the church at
if you are not attending. Children in Templar (only) may walk home but only with written permission from parents please could all parents return attached slip by tomorrow (Thursday December 20th).
School Uniform
The new school jackets look really smart still some in stock if you would like one! A smart school uniform is a very important aspect of any good school, so can I once again ask for your support in sending the children into school in full uniform, including school shoes, not trainers. I look forward to seeing all of our children dressed smartly on Friday for the service.
Term dates
The children need to be back at school on Tuesday January 8th (we have a teacher training day on Monday January 7th) and half term will be February 18th to 22nd inclusive. For Easter this year we have Good Friday and Easter Monday only off school, and then the Easter holidays will be from April 7th to 18th inclusive. As you can see from our Ofsted report, attendance is still very much an issue, so I ask again for your support in not taking holidays out of term time.
Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a very peaceful and enjoyable Christmas, and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
With best wishes
Headteacher
