The Teaching Staff

 

Mrs Susan Rowe-Jones is our Headteacher.  Mrs Rowe-Jones was both Deputy Headteacher and subsequently Acting Headteacher at Dartmouth Primary School .  Her previous posts include Advanced Skills Teacher for ICT and Leading Maths Teacher in Torbay .  Mrs Rowe-Jones’ first degree is in Modern Foreign Languages from the University of London , and she then gained a PGCE at St Luke’s, University of Exeter .  Mrs Rowe-Jones leads in ICT and teaches with Miss Alcock in Courtenay class.

 

 

This is Mrs Allsop. Mrs Allsop qualified in Birmingham in 1972. She has taught in a variety of both Secondary and Primary schools in Birmingham and Devon, joining All Saints in 1988. Mrs Allsop leads in Maths, P.E. and Modern Foreign Languages.  Mrs Allsop teaches Year 5/6 in Templar class
Miss Alcock teaches Courtenay class. Miss Alcock joined our school on a permanent basis in September 2001 having been temporary since January 2000 after returning from Australia. Prior to that she taught at Bradley Barton School, having qualified as a teacher at Warwick University in 1993 with a B.A. Honours. She leads in R.E., Personal, Social and Health Education, and Special Needs. She is currently studying for a Masters degree in Special Needs. Miss Alcock shares the class with Mrs Rowe-Jones.
Mrs McAdams teaches Bradley class. Mrs McAdams qualified as a teacher in 1995 having gained her B.A. Honours degree at Plymouth. After teaching in Cornwall she joined All Saints in 1997. Mrs McAdams leads in Science, Art, Assessment and Design Technology.

Miss Grant teaches Forde class. Miss Grant obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2003. Miss Grant worked for two years as a Nursery Nurse and Teaching assistant at Dartmouth Primary School , before joining us in September 2008 having completed her B.Ed (Hons) Degree at the University College Plymouth St Mark and St John in July. Miss Grant is our subject leader for Art and Design Technology.

 

Mrs Ware teaches in Forde class for one day a week, and across the rest of the school when needed.  Mrs Ware rejoined us in April 2009 after a short spell in a school in Exeter. Mrs Ware qualified as a teacher in 1983 gaining a B. Ed. (Hons) at Oxford.  Since then she has taught in Wiltshire and at the West of England School, Exeter.  Mrs Ware is our subject leader for music.
